BYO Takeaway Containers

Fast food without the plastic guilt.

It may be a little intimidating at first, walking into your local takeaway armed with your own containers, but as long as they’re nice and clean you'll find most places will be happy to use them. (And other customers will hopefully be inspired to do the same.) Tips: Ring in advance to check whether a takeaway is happy to accept BYO containers. To make it easier for portion sizes, some places might ask for their containers to be reused. If they say no, don't take it personally; they may think it's a health and safety issue. Ask again next time (tell them it’s legal and it will save them money!) or find somewhere else that does embrace this low-waste alternative.
