For A Strawless Ocean

Open-source communications campaign to take action against single-use plastic straws.

Plastic straws are just one of many single-use plastics which end up in our oceans, polluting the water and harming marine life. Straws are consistently among the top ten items found during beach clean-ups around the world and nearly all plastic straws are non-recyclable. In 2017 Lonely Whale created Strawless Ocean to spark a global movement around the single-use plastic straw. An incubator for courageous ideas that drive impactful change for our oceans, Lonely Whale wants to share this campaign far and wide. Join the movement ‘For A Strawless Ocean’ and take action against plastic pollution.
